Khrueang Kwaen (2025)

Khrueang Kwaen looks at the material shift in Thai hanging ornaments from scented fresh flowers to synthetic materials in the modern world, and explores how biomaterials can reinterpret this tradition for contemporary living, especially outside Thailand where the original flowers and materials are less accessible.

The entire piece is made from biomaterials, with threads created from natural pandan leaf fibres.
